Pick-up

Five steps, no counter, no opening hours.

The citizen receives an SMS the moment the item is ready, with a PIN code and anything they need to bring along.

Phone number and PIN are entered on the Master module's touch display, which has a built-in privacy filter.

Depending on the item: insert the expired passport for verification and cancellation, use a national identification system, or confirm date of birth or civil registration number.

Once verified — and once any expired document has been cancelled — the correct drawer opens automatically. The citizen takes the item and closes the drawer.

If more items are waiting, the citizen continues. Otherwise the session ends and the language resets for the next person.

The Master module

One control unit. Everything the citizen touches.

Robust, scratch-resistant, with a privacy filter so bystanders can't read the screen. Colours, type sizes and layout are designed to work across all age groups.

Retracts passport-sized (ID-3) and card-sized (ID-1) documents, reads the RFID chip over an embedded NFC scanner, and punches two holes to render the document — and its chip or antenna — unusable.

Barcode, QR code and MRZ text OCR behind hard glass, used to identify objects during filling.

Wide-angle camera above the display captures stills at defined steps, stored with timestamp and identity under GDPR. Auto-deletion defaults to 30 days, is configurable, and can be disabled entirely.

Removable unit at the base collects punching residue and discarded documents — hundreds of cancelled IDs before emptying.

The verifier and cancellation mechanism is built for worn documents — curled corners, bends, luggage stickers — and needs less than one service visit a year.

Modules & capacity

A single Master module, and as many drawers as the hall allows.

Drawer modules sit alongside the Master module and connect through cable glands in the cabinet sides. The Master module can be placed centrally or to either side, and drawer modules can be combined in any sequence — up to five 152-drawer modules (760 ID document drawers) or twenty-four 19-drawer modules (456 large document drawers) per Master module. We recommend placing the Master module near the centre so the walk to the furthest drawer stays short.

Security & compliance

Steel, floor- and wall-fixed

All modules are steel plated with fixation points to both floor and wall, so no module can be moved quickly.

Drawer by drawer

Drawers and electronic locks resist screwdriver, chisel, hammer and crowbar — and each drawer has to be forced separately.

Seismic alarms

Optional alarm units on Master and drawer modules, easy to wire into the alarm system already on site.

Audit trail

Camera stills document each step of every citizen and administrator process. A separate CCTV system covering the installation is strongly recommended and supplied by the customer.

Administration

Filling and emptying, initiated from your systems.

Administrative flows start in the integrating software or the Document Dispenser administration software, which locks the unit so citizen sessions can't interrupt. The employee then receives a single-use code to enter on the touch panel. Emptying can free the oldest items to make room, or target specific drawers.

Exchange

Not only one-way delivery.

Selected citizens can also place items into the dispenser for others to collect, using a permanent private PIN — keys to municipal rooms and buildings, shared laptops, or binders passed between driving instructors and citizen service.
